About ecotourismEco-tourism and rules of conduct on the territory
![]() The establishment and development of eco-tourism on the territory of the future Nuratau-Kyzylkum Biosphere Reserve has the objective of stimulating the local population to preserve nature. Eco-tourism is seen as one option to link economic and ecological sustainable development. People understand that Tourists will only visit their area and pay for tourism services if the natural environment remains as beautiful as it currently is. The history of the natural landscapes that exist today is directly related to the history of people who created it. It is an artificial living environment, which in combination with the nature forms a single common environment. From the object – subject relationship perspective (human – nature) human society interacts with the natural environment. The character of this interaction strongly influences the maintenance of biodiversity on Earth. ![]() Eco-tourism improves the ecologic awareness not only of those who receive income from tourism services but also of the visitors. By experiencing nature and local livelihoods, tourists understand the necessity of treating it with care. Any eco-travel pursues educational goals. Most popular eco-tourism activities in this region are walks, horse or donkey riding bird watching, photography, camping, hiking, fishing, botanic tours, archeological tourism, watching different types of insects, etc. Ecotourism’s contribution to the development of ecologic culture is invaluable. Moreover, due to the limited required tourism infrastructure (hotels, restaurants, entertainment facilities) ecotourism is considered to be less costly per person and per dollar of income in terms of using economic resources. Thus, it is not only useful but also profitable. Rules of stay on the territory |
