Rules of ecotourism

Please, respect the following rules during your stay in the future Nuratau-Kyzylkum Biopshere Reserve
  • Avoid actions that may harm the environment or important natural and cultural places and sights!
  • Respect the vulnerability of ecosystems! Watch the animals and birds from a good distance! Do not try to feed wild animals!
  • Do not enter the Nuratau Nature Reserve (Zapovednik) even if you are invited by local guides to do so! In this way you avoid disturbance of the fragile natural environment and conflicts with the reserve administration! It I also against the laws of Uzbekistan.
  • Leave the nature you visited as far as possible in the same way you have found it! Do not collect items found during the travel! You will have photos for your memory.
  • Do not draw on rocks, trees and buildings!
  • Do not leave garbage anywhere else than in the guesthouses! The guesthouses have proper conditions to dispose garbage! Be especially careful with not polluting rivers and springs!
  • If you decide to erect a tent, please do so on a previously arranged place! Try to minimize the effects of fire: make small camp-fires only and use only completely dry wood. Extinguish the fire and dump the ash!
  • Always follow the instructions and advices of your tour guide.
  • Respect local people, their culture, traditions and rules as well as the nature of their villages, provinces and countries.
  • Try to understand and enjoy the living conditions in the villages, even if they are strange compared to those you are used to.
  • Respect other tourists. Be kind to them. Let the sounds of the nature be the only sounds surrounding you. Avoid unnecessary conflicts.
  • Try to support the local community as much as possible by purchasing handicrafts, souvenirs etc!
  • Try to walk and use vehicles in a way which harms the environment as little as possible!
