Hike to Small Chimgan Peak and Return to Tashkent: Depart from Tashkent to the trek starting point in Chimgan (93km). Start hiking from Kozlinnoe Gorge heading towards Pesochniy Pass. Then head up to reach Small Chimgan Peak (2,097 m). Enjoy the views of the mountains before descending to the picturesque Gulkamsay River Valley. Arriving at the enringing point in Gulkam, you will be picked up and driven to Tashkent.

- Seasonal Considerations: The best seasons for this tour are April–May and September–October.
- Meeting Point and Time: At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel, the airport, or the train station.
- Ending Point: In Tashkent, you will be dropped at the hotel or any requested place

To find your driver:

- Transportation: Round trip transportation to the mountains.
- Meals: A picnic lunch will be provided during the hike.
- Guide: A mountain guide with basic English will lead the hike.
- Hiking sticks.
- Travel Insurance: We want you to have a safe and worry-free tour, so we kindly ask all participants to have travel insurance. It’s a simple way to ensure you’re protected and can fully enjoy your activities with peace of mind.
Transport Details:
- Road Travel: Air-conditioned sedan car for groups of 2–3 or air-conditioned minibus for groups of 4 or more.
- Participants: The tour operates with a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 12 participants.
- Fitness Level: Moderate. The hike involves a steady climb and some challenging sections, requiring a reasonable fitness level and comfort with moderate physical activity. It is suitable for those with basic stamina and mobility.
- Age Restrictions: Suitable for participants aged 16 and above.
- Health Considerations: Participants should have no serious mobility issues or health conditions that could be aggravated by walking or heat exposure.
Clothing:
- Spring (April-May) & Autumn (September-October): Light layers with a jacket for cooler mornings/evenings. A windproof and waterproof jacket is recommended.
- Summer (June-August): Light, breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, hat, and sunscreen.
Footwear:
Sturdy hiking boots with good grip for rocky and uneven terrain.
Essentials:
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle.

Hiking Day Trip to Chimgan Itinerary
Tashkent – Small Chimgan Peak – Tashkent
At 08:00 AM, meet the driver and mountain guide at the hotel, then depart from the capital towards the Chimgan Mountains. Upon arrival at the starting point of the hike to Small Chimgan Peak, the guide will provide a safety briefing and ensure all necessary gear is ready before starting the ascent. The hike begins in Kozlinnoe Gorge, heading first towards Pesochniy Pass. From there, the trail continues north, leading to Small Chimgan Peak. The summit offers one of the most scenic views in the area, with panoramic vistas of Charvak Lake, Great Chimgan Peak, and the surrounding mountains of neighboring countries. After enjoying the views, begin the descent along the ridge into the picturesque Gulkamsay River valley. The hike concludes in Gulkamsay, where the driver will be waiting to take you back to Tashkent. A picnic lunch will be provided during the hike.
